Students learn about the operation of technology and the ways in which it might be integrated into the classroom in support of learning. Upon completion of the course, students should be able to: 1) use a variety of software applications applicable to a classroom setting; 2) use various technologies effectively to deliver a lesson; 3) discuss how technology allows students to represent and communicate what they learn; 4) plan classroom instruction that integrates technology that provides an added value to the content; and 5) present a final project that demonstrates their knowledge of a successful lesson integrating technology.
