Fundraising, including grant writing, can be an essential part of your community and economic development career whether you are working in the nonprofit or public sector. This course will teach you the fundamentals of fundraising including: general principles of fundraising, how to write a successful grant proposal, how respond to government issued Requests for Proposals (RFP), where to find grant opportunities, and how to prepare for a successful site visit.
