Course Goals include: 1) Develop an understanding of Research-based Instructional Methods, 2) Experience and Implement Inquiry-based instruction, 3) Develop an understanding of scientific literacy in secondary education, 4) Develop your own teaching philosophy, 5) Justify practices and provide reasons for pedagogical strategies.
