- Class Description:
- This seminar will be on Ludwig Wittgenstein's early views about language, mind, and metaphysics. The central text will be the Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus, but we will also read some earlier texts ("Notes on Logic", the 1914-16 Notebooks, the Proto-Tractatus), and possibly some later ones. The focus will be on the primary texts, but we'll also read some of the secondary literature.
