Atomic theory, periodic properties of elements. Thermochemistry, reaction stoichiometry. Behavior of gases, liquids, and solids. Molecular/ionic structure/bonding. Organic chemistry and polymers. energy sources, environmental issues related to energy use. prereq: Grade of at least C- in CHEM 1015 OR Placement into least MATH 1151 (pre calc II) or grade of at least C- in MATH 1051(pre calc I) Concurrent registration is required (or allowed) in 1065; registration for 1065 must precede registration for 1061

Midterm Exams are ONLINE available from Thursday at 4pm to FRIDAYS at 4pm (more info will be available in the course syllabus). You must register in lab first! Students who drop CHEM 1061 lecture before Monday, TBD are REQUIRED to drop CHEM 1065 lab. No Exceptions!
