Class Notes:
This is a HYBRID section of MATH 1031. Traditional lectures will be accessed by students outside of class time, as videos posted online. There will also be online homework and quizzes. It is expected that students will spend six hours per week on this material. The large group meeting time (formerly lecture time) is now held in an active learning classroom and students work on developing problem-solving skills with the instructional staff. Students are encouraged to bring an internet capable tablet or laptop to every class meeting. Exams emphasize mathematical communication as well as standard computations.
