Course Catalog Description:: Taxonomy, anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathogenesis, infectious disease, immunology, ecology of microbes. Molecular structure in relation to function of bacteria, fungi, protozoa, viruses. prereq: Biol 2003 or Biol 1009 or instructor permission
Class Description:: Course covers the physiology, biochemistry, pathogenesis, and ecology of microbes including fungi, bacteria, and viruses. Immunology and molecular structure in relation to microbial function and disease is also covered. Lecture only, MICB 3303 does not include laboratory.
