- In this class students continue to improve their proficiency at speaking, reading, writing, and understanding Russian. A key part of the course is working with many kinds of authentic texts (texts made by and for Russian speakers), including songs, weather forecasts, movies and TV shows, videos and social media posts, and poems.
- Who Should Take This Class?:
- This class is for people who have already taken two semesters of college Russian or the equivalent and want to continue developing their language skills. If you're not sure which level of Russian is right for you, see this page for placement.

- This course continues the development of the four basic language skills -- speaking, understanding, reading, and writing. Students prepare regularly assigned written exercises, listen to CD's and videos, work with computer instructional programs and participate in class activities. Active control of the language for communication in all modalities is the goal of instruction and the main criterion of evaluation.
