Course Catalog Description:: Explore the dental hygienist/dental therapist as leader and manager in healthcare delivery organizations or public health organizations and programs. A study of current issues that influence the practice of dental hygiene/therapy including healthcare delivery systems, workforce needs, practice models, regulation, professional associations, state practice acts, and the legislation process. Emphasis on leadership and professional development.
