Course Catalog Description:: Directed studies in earth & environmental sciences under the direction of a faculty member. Prereq: instr consent
Class Description:: Students interested in working on a particular problem or issue in either geology or geophysics can contact the department office for refferal to appropriate faculty members. Students will work on a one-to-one basis with a faculty member. Projects may include literature review, labortatory or field work, or computer moddeling. Depending on the scope of the project students can earn from 1-4 credits for each project. This course may be taken more than once when different problems are pursued.
