This is one of the two basic tool courses for Economics majors. The prerequisite is Econ 3101, which students must have completed successfully PRIOR to taking this course. Students are NOT permitted to take both concurrently, or take Econ 3102 prior to Econ 3101. The course includes determinants of national income, employment, and price level; effects of fiscal and monetary policies; with an emphasis on a general equilibrium approach. Economic growth is also discussed.
