Course Catalog Description:: LANG 3401 - Regional Cultures of Brazil is a Big Ten Academic Alliance CourseShare course. The instructor is at the University of Illinois but you enroll and receive credit for it at the University of Minnesota This integrated skills language course will have students navigate Brazil from end to end, with the goal of exploring historical and cultural aspects of Brazil that aren't always covered in the media. From myths and legends, to culinary adventures, traditional music, and more, this course will cover the five geographic regions of Brazil and touch on the Brazilian diaspora around the world. This class is intended for advanced students of Portuguese.
