Academic credit is awarded for satisfactory completion of virtual electives that are directly sponsored by and offered at other LCME-accredited U.S. medical schools. Students may earn up to 4 weeks of credit in Years 3 and 4 for these activities. Approval to take an elective away for credit with registration at the University of Minnesota for INMD 7554 must be done in advance before beginning the elective away for credit.
