Class Description:
Starting from the premise that we are, for better or worse, inexorably tied to one another, this seminar explores the intersection of art and "the social" from multiple angles: group portraiture, collaborative authorship, style as social form, nationalism and internationalism, art as collective experience and agent of social change.
