- The Advanced Selective in Subspecialty Pediatrics is an opportunity for students to serve patients in an inpatient setting on subspecialty services such as Hematology/Oncology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, and Emergency Pediatrics. This rotation also includes a variety of phases of care including Emergency Room, Night Coverage (admissions and cross cover), and daily inpatient setting with a subspecialty team. Students will take on the responsibility of an acting intern in these various care settings. They will collaborate with pediatric interns and medical students in their foundational training. They will be supervised by pediatric senior residents and faculty attendings.
