This course explores multi-sector leadership and related governance and management challenges from a variety of perspectives and provides an opportunity for students to work together to apply what they are learning individually and in teams through in-class exercises and a final team project. We emphasize contexts for integrative leadership at five basic levels: within individuals, within and across groups, within and across organizations, within and across sectors, and at the societal scale. Learning occurs through reading foundational materials, personal leadership coaching, engaging extensively with examples from guest speakers and case materials, developing a group capstone project on integrative leadership, and iteratively co-producing an understanding of what integrative leadership is.
