- Students work as a team to plan, script, and shoot video productions in a hands-on multi-camera television studio. By creating their own productions and reviewing the productions of others, students learn how media aesthetics shape the presentation of themes and messages.
- Class Description:
- This course is designed to introduce you to the tools and techniques of live-on-tape (LOT) video production. You will learn to operate equipment and manage the studio space, as well as conceptualize and execute video aesthetics from the script stage through shooting. You will be responsible for three video production projects. The productions are designed to help progressively increase your skill level while exposing you to a variety of production tasks. The video productions are hands-on, team exercises in a multi- camera studio.
