- Intensive Chinese -- concurrent registration in CHN 4003 is REQUIRED. Students not registered for both CHN 4003 and CHN 4004 for summer session will be automatically dropped. Students who want to register for only one course must request special permission from the instructor. Students and instructors must be online at the same time, at scheduled days and times. 100% of instruction is online with no in-person meetings. Exams are also all online.

- Chinese 3022, Summer 2011 Instructors: Li, Chi-ping , Wang, Ling, Zou, Zhen prereq 3021, 5.0 cr As the second part of a two-semester sequence in intermediate modern Chinese, this course is to help students further develop their four basic language skills, especially speaking and reading. The course consists of 1 lecture session and 2 discussion and/or review sessions every day. The pace of instruction is approximately 2 chapters per week. Students are expected to spend a minimum of 10 hours of study per week outside of class. For information regarding quizzes, exams, etc., please see the general course schedule attached.
