Course Catalog Description:: Thinking about the rebellions that rocked the Atlantic world during the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries, we will compare and contrast the diverse political, economic, and social elements surrounding the following conflicts: the American Revolution, the French Revolution, the Haitian Revolution, and the Latin American Wars of Independence.
