- Seminar for preparation/completion of American Indian Studies Senior Project requirement.
- Class Description:
- This is a writing intensive course that allows American Indian Studies majors to complete their Senior Project. While writing is involved, it is not necessary to write a research paper. Students have brought many creative research projects to the Senior Seminar, including Dakota and Ojibwe language work. The class concludes with a Senior Symposium, or participation in Scott Hall Research Day. The seminar emphasizes collegiality and working together so that everyone completes their projects.

- There are no exams, but rather milestones throughout the semester toward finishing the Senior Project.

- We emphasize group discussion in a seminar format.
