- Students complete a film of any length, 24 frames or feature-length. Emphasizes formal analysis of frames, shots, sequences, and relations of unit (frame or shot) to whole. prereq: 3201 or instr consent
- Class Description:
- SCMC 3202 Intermediate Digital Filmmaking gives students the opportunity to build upon the foundations of visual storytelling from SCMC 3201 and continue to develop their cinematic voice. This course is designed to enhance students methods and approaches to the filmmaking process, from script to screen. Students will conceive, plan, organize, light, shoot, record sound, capture video footage, and edit material - creating their own short films. By the end of the semester students will become more adept with the tools filmmakers use to create movies.
