- Revision/expansion of a paper completed for a linguistics course. prereq: Ling major, [jr or sr]
- Class Description:
- This class will provide support for the completion of the senior project /Honors Thesis in Linguistics, by analyzing the structure and organization of linguistics papers and providing a forum for discussion of developmentaland stylistic aspects of the writing process. Students must come to the first class with a project, preferably a previously written course paper that they would like to expand and revise. In case the project does not involve the expansion of a previously written course paper, students are expected to have with them a 6-8 page proposal, outlining the issue(s), previous studies, and the project plan. Target audience: Junior and Senior Linguistics majors.
