The course will introduce the student to standing postures, forward bends and twists, balancing and seated postures, inversions, back bends, and guided relaxation and meditation. Course objectives include proper alignment, proper weight placement, body awareness, relaxation, and breathing techniques. Assignments will include a midterm paper and a movement demonstration final.
