Course Catalog Description:: This seminar is about American food aid programs, diplomacy, geopolitics, and global food movements. We cover the Cold War period and the contemporary world and examine issues such as what is global food security, how food diplomacy has developed, and why famines occur. The final project is to create a digital storytelling site based on student research; no prior experience or knowledge required as we learn how to make such a site together.
