This course centers student-generated, creative, collaborations by inviting and engaging varied disciplinary perspectives and ways of knowing. Each person is supported in the process of developing collaborative work that is meaningful, charged with passion, and experimental in nature. A series of collaborative sketches create a context for new work that centers the arts while synthesizing the ideas, inspirations, and questions that students generate over the course of the semester. Introductions to conceptual, spatial, social, and technological catalysts and processes spark new directions and act as a common reference for all participants. Improvisational modalities, guest presentations, and site visits will expand the scope of the course and respond to the interests of the class.
