Capstone course for art history majors, which teaches writing skills and strategies, and aids students in the completion of senior paper projects through the study of art historical methods. Students work with both the class instructor and individual faculty advisers on independent research and writing.
Class Description:
Facilitate completion of research paper begun in a 5xxx course to qualify as senior project. Evaluation of work to date while strengthening skills and research experience. Study of historical, philosophical, and aesthetic methods related to the writing of art history as well as exposure to a variety of art historical genres. Prereq: Honors Art History major, instructor consent
