- Class Description:
- The beginning Russian course develops the four basic language skills--speaking, understanding, reading, and writing--in a balanced, highly integrated manner. Students do regularly assigned grammar exercises, listen to CD's, and are required to participate in each class section. Active control of Russian structure is the principal criterion of evaluation.
- Who Should Take This Class?:
- This course is intended for students with no or limited knowledge of the Russian language
- Learning Objectives:
- The objective of this course is to develop the four language skills - speaking, writing, listening, reading - in harmony, laying the basis for ultimate mastery of the language.

- Attendance and oral recitation in class: 15%
