Class Description:: This course will provide you with the opportunity to do research on a historical topic of your choice. It will introduce you to the way in which history is conceptualized, researched and written. We shall examine the methodologies of researching and analyzing historical texts as well as guidance in writing a research proposal, producing a first draft and revising the draft to create the final paper 20 page paper. The earlier you decide on a topic the better your essay will be. Therefore, if you already have an idea for a research topic before the course begins you will be off to an excellent start. Incompletes will not be given for this course.
