Course Catalog Description:: The capstone project in the department of Asian Languages and Literatures is meant to demonstrate the cumulative language, critical thinking, and analysis skills developed by students over the course of their undergraduate studies. It consists of a thesis of at least 6000 words, in which students must synthesize research in primary language sources (i.e. texts, films, or other forms of cultural production in the original language of student's declared subplan) with secondary research. prereq: ALL major, sr
