Course Catalog Description:: Theories/experimental evidence in past/present conceptions of psychology of language. prereq: Grad or [[jr or sr], [3011 or 3031 or 3051 or 3061]] or instr consent
Class Description:: Theories/experimental evidence in past and present conceptions of psychology of language. Topics include language and the brain, perceptual processes in reading, speech perception, lexical access, semantic memory, sentence and discourse comprehension, pragmatics, speech production, composition, language and thought and applied psycholinguistics.
Grading:: 60% Midterm Exam
40% Final Exam
Exam Format:: multiple choice, operational definitions, essay
