Continuation of ballet technique. Musicality, performance, stylistic differences. Practical work conducted within context of choreographic/aesthetic development of ballet. prereq: dept consent, audition

This class is presented in conjunction with Jame Sewell Ballet Company who will be guest instructing in conjunction with Penny Freeh.
Class Description:
This course is the seventh in an eight-semester sequence of ballet technique. This advanced level ballet class will emphasize and further develop the following skills: clarity of arms and head positions, a strong stance, stability and balance, coordination of the joining of steps, use of feet in jumps, the ability to reverse and remember movement combinations.
