The goal of this course is to provide you with an in-depth understanding of the communication processes that take place in marriages and families. Emphasis is placed on the theoretical explanations of communication processes and on their practical application through communication behaviors that enhance familial interactions. The course reviews communication theories and theories from allied disciplines that have been employed in scholarly research of marriages and families.
