- Class Description:
- Prerequisite: ITAL 1004, or instructor's permission. Description: This intensive, intermediate course is designed for students who have passed Italian 1004 (or who have obtained the Second Year Coordinator's consent) and have mastered basic Italian grammar. In this course, students will further develop their reading, listening, speaking, writing, and intercultural skills in Italian, with an emphasis on cultural aspects of contemporary Italy. The course will include preparatory activities that are designed to encourage students to analyze grammatical points in question, that need to be completed before class so that class time may be primarily devoted to meaningful interactions in Italian.
