Class Description:
Students in class are juniors, seniors, and master's students. While most students are accounting majors, the course is also valuable for students in finance. The class covers the valuation of liabilities and owners' equity accounts, as well as cashflow statements and earnings per share calculations. Students need a thorough background in financial accounting and present value calculations to do well in Acct 5102.
