- Class Description:
- This course will focus on the diagnosis of auditory disorders in infants and children. Topics covered will include embryologic and physiologic development of the auditory system, genetics of hearing loss and non-genetic causes of hearing loss. Students will learn about hearing testing using behavioral and physiological measures. Newborn hearing screening will be discussed as well.
